Sometimes, even the angriest of music does not quite cut it.

Come up with a crazy business idea.
This is not a result of this prompt, but in reading a book I got recently, I had a thought.
What if I opened a shop as an apothecary?
In most situations, I have issues with modern medicine, especially medications. I prefer natural remedies. If there is a tea, a natural food or spice, or something non-pharmaceutical I can do to deal with my issue, I would much rather do that than pop a pill. Bronchitis? Hot toddy, or the nonalcoholic lemon juice, honey, and water. Indigestion? Ginger tea. Anxiety or panic attack? Breathing exercises. Mother nature has remedies for almost everything that ails us.
Crazy, maybe, but why not learn more (bonus!) and turn my distaste for chemical pharmacology into a business where I can help people and show them how to help themselves in the future? Interesting thought….

Sometimes, it is important to remember that other people may not know what you know, and almost never know what you are thinking.

Have you ever noticed that the songs “i’m a little teapot” and “the itsy bitsy spider” have the same tune?

I am working on a project, and i came across something i wrote about 20 years ago, and decided to share.
I’ve come to realize that there are several things that i miss:
-I miss running around my front yard during a summer afternoon sun shower
-I miss playing outside in the snow for hours on end until i can’t feel my nose
-I miss adding “and a half” to my age just so i could feel older
-I miss the days when $5 was a lot of money
-I miss laying in the grass to find shapes in the clouds
-I miss the idea that 2am was really late
-i miss hanging upside down on the monkey bars until my face was beet red and i could feel my pulse in my eyeballs
-i miss the days when my biggest worry was not striking out during kickball
-i miss dodge ball
-i miss going swimming in my uncle’s pool for hours on end
-I miss sleep overs
-I miss not having a thing in the world to complain or worry about
-I miss the days when christmas was exciting, halloween was a big deal and a three month summer vacation was a guarantee
-i miss not knowing what suffering was
-i miss piling into the car with my family just to see where random roads led to.
-i miss the days when a kiss from mom could fix any boo-boo or heartache
-i miss not having to make any difficult decisions.
i guess what it really comes down to is that i miss the freedom, innocence and imagination of childhood. Being an adult has its perks, but being a child is much more fun. Sometimes i wish growing up had been an option. -
Does anyone else get random urges to brush their teeth in the middle of the day for no real reason, or is that just a me thing?

What is your mission?
While I’d love to be able to give some grand answer about ending world hunger or being a massive philanthropist or groundbreaking doctor or brilliant researcher, I can’t say any of that. I have come to realize that my mission in life is a bit simpler. And admittedly, I do not yet know the purpose of said mission, I just know what I feel impelled to do.
My mission in life is to learn as much as I possibly can, spread kindness, and to help others in whatever way I can, large or small.

I cannot force myself to be comfortable with not knowing or at least striving to know.

Some people need to realize the importance of the proper use of punctuation, especially in professional correspondence. Just sayin.

Why is it that when people are talking to god, spirits, angels or even life in general, they look up?
