I prefer dim lighting. If I can see well enough to read, that’s fine by me. No need for crazy bright lights for no real reason.

I have a very sophisticated, three tier alarm system to alert me if there are issues in or around the house.
The first (and loudest) tier alerts me of anything that is even vaguely potentially threatening. This includes wind, strange sounding birds, or fish swimming on a screen saver. Tier one includes everything in lower tiers.
The second tier is useful for potential threats that are more… valid and yet to be properly identified and vetted. This includes people outside, people who give off strange energy, and trees falling in the back yard. Tier two includes anything in tier three.
The third tier is the most reliable for actual threats and generally only includes loud, unexpected noises or an unidentified entrant into the house.
If you haven’t already guessed, this system also happens to come in four legged units, and is triggered by late feeding times, which has been an issue since Sunday what with the time change and all.
In any case, this system is highly recommended, 5 stars!

Is there an age or year of your life you would re-live?
This seriously depends.
Do I know what I know now? If so, I would relive the year that I was 15.
If not, it would be some point in my early-mid 20s – as in 22-25. I have new ideas.
But, to be honest, it doesn’t matter, because I can’t do that. The past is gone. Done. Over. The only thing we can do with it is enjoy the memories, learn the lessons, and move on. Sure, it’s great to speculate, but only for a moment because anything more takes us away from the now.
And now is the only thing that really matters.

What do most people see when they close their eyes? I’m curious if it’s the same as what I see….

Will there be “digital archeologists” in the future who will sift through all of our internet meanderings and content and then speculate what our day to day lives were like?

What does it mean to be a kid at heart?
To ask questions without considering what others will think of it, or you.

Why is it that dogs assume that they are entitled to a bit of every single piece of anything food related that we have? I think it’s because of the pack mentality. If I eat, you eat. Pretty simple – take care of your own.
Humanity needs more of that mentality on a bigger scale.

Patience is a virtue, that’s what they say. But some days, it’s a unicorn. A completely fictional thing that does not exist anywhere in your reality.
