Data speaks to me…
What are your favorite websites?
I started responding to this, but got interrupted, and couldn’t reign it back in. So, i’ll give you the gist…
i don’t have a favorite. I don’t think of websites in that way. ‘Favorite’ implies positive emotion, and a website’s design does nothing to improve my emotional state.
Ya ever have one of those days where you take a day off work, but not really, and you didn’t get to check your emails during the day and then at the end of the day, you see how many emails you get in a day and you’re just like…. “well, shit”?
i have a new appreciation for the layers that you can find within music.
When I was a kid, my dad would play a trick on me randomly.
He would call me, and then tell me to go do something, which i, of course, immediately went to do.
when i was about halfway to where i was going, he’d call me back, and i’d run back to see what he wanted. When I arrived, he’d say, “now, do you think you’da gotten there by now if i hadn’t called you back?” He’d laugh, and i’d stomp off to the original destination, outrage filling my entire little girl body.
Remembering it now, especially the first couple times – is freaking hilarious.
I think pandora is feeling nostalgic… That was just the third 80s/90s cover I’ve heard today.
Some cover songs are great. Others, not so much. I just heard a cover of “Come Undone’… not digging it.
Old school halloween costumes were essentially painted contractor garbage bags with a poorly ventilated and visual field limiting (or eliminating) face covering. Just sayin.
is it strange that, in my mind, I talk to my body?
