Actions are what matter. Words are flimsy in comparison.

Kids are both exceptionally brilliant and incredibly dumb. Ice cream for breakfast? Brilliant! Wishing to be an adult so they can be “free”? Dumb.

I could word this eloquently, but fuck it. Sometimes, it is in your best interest to sit back, shut the fuck up, and just watch.

Why, why, why? This is my favorite question, but I both love and hate it.

Sometimes, and this seems counterintuitive, but still…. Sometimes, focusing too much on a problem really only serves to make it worse.

Why do you wake up when someone is staring at you when you are sleeping? How does your body know??

Sometimes, you just have to not answer that email, text, phone call… it will be better for your sanity and peace of mind to not stress about it. Whatever the “it” is will be there later or tomorrow.

I love that I can switch gears easily when it comes to certain things, but sometimes it is a massive pain in the ass to get back into the groove of what I was doing when I had to switch.
