When I was a kid, I would pick a random volume from the encyclopedia and flip through until I found something that interested me, and then read all about it. Later in my childhood, I focused on animals and particular flowers and would try to draw pictures I saw in the encyclopedia.

When I learned logic tables in school, I would spend hours of my free time trying to create statements that would be tautologies. It was ridiculously satisfying.

I think I may finally have the inspiration I needed to start designing the sleeve for my right arm. This will change many times before I actually get inked, I’m sure, but the spark is established, and that makes me happy.

Modern society really has caused a detachment of humanity from an exploration of the deeper things in life. This saddens me.

Why do people wait till the absolute last minute to show up to catch a train or plane, knowing that if they miss it, it will ruin their plans? Seriously. I will never understand that.

Two things. 1 – it really is interesting how differently the male and female brains function, and how that is largely driven by evolution. 2 – I hate when people put a song in my head and then remind me of it just to start the replay loop over after I had just gotten rid of it!
